The
Challenge
Specialty
Sports Venture (SSV), an affiliation of the best snow
sports and outdoor activities shops in the Rocky Mountains,
had acquired several related web businesses, all of which
were growing rapidly. These web businesses used different
software applications with very limited integration. Also,
the software applications could not support the web businesses
as SSV continued to grow the business.
The
Solution
Using
our technology planning process we worked with SSV to
rapidly identify the key enhancements and integration
needed across the web businesses. We wrote the request
for proposal based on the technology planning, providing
a comprehensive criteria to measure vendor proposals.
We also reviewed all proposals and gave SSV a ranked evaluation
of the proposals.
The

has selected vendors that are the perfect fit for SSV's
web businesses, and at a reasonable cost.
